​Daniel M. Quilter writes science‑fantasy for adults and fantasy for kids because he refuses to choose between starships and dragons. He lives in Utah with his wife and two children, who have gently suggested he stop worldbuilding at the dinner table. When he’s not writing, he’s climbing, hiking, camping, or riding his motorcycle. His latest novel has earned multiple award nominations, and he’s doing his best not to obsess over them.
